I like Pu Pu Hot Pot, But Are They Slipping? - April 17, 2009
I've been ordering from Pu Pu Hot Pot for many years now, and they always made some of the best and yummiest food in Cambridge. I've used them both for catering for parties of 50 people or more and also for individual at home and they're always on time and consistant, and, make sure that I have everything that I need.
However, they seem to be suffering from the economy ... or it would seem. One of my favorite things that I order from them is "Noodle With Meat" which seems like a silly named dish, but it's a fantastic tasty dish. However, lately, they've dropped the spiciness of this dish and the amount of "meat" (which is meat, peas, carrots and various other components) has been getting rather scarce to the point where I just wonder if there is a mysterious black hole that meat sauces disappear to.
Pros: Very Tasty, Tends to Have High Quality, On Time
Cons: Skimpy with sauces to the point of the dish becomes somewhat unenjoyable at times.
